Coherent teamed up with Seattle Data Science meetup, Seattle Smart Data meetup, and Galvanize for a presentation on “Rulelog: What the New Advances in Logic-Based AI Can Do for Data Science”.  The talk, held at Galvanize’s Seattle location and presented by Coherent’s CTO and CEO Benjamin Grosof, focused on how Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KRR) can greatly enhance the value of Machine Learning (ML) for data analysis,  predictions, and decision making. “KRR is required to combine the results of ML, accumulate knowledge coherently, and explain knowledge. Lack of powerful enough KRR is one of the weaknesses of ML today.”
